Collection of participant-reported safety data in antimalarial trials

A better understanding of the factors influencing participant-reported data for safety assessments (adverse events, medical histories, and prior/concomitant medicines) will enhance the conduct and interpretation of the results of individual trials and meta-analyses. This document provides a summary of pertinent literature, including methodological research conducted by the authors within malaria, to guide antimalarial researchers in this topic.
