IDDO Programme Manager (maternity cover)

Grade 7: £31,604 - £38,833 p.a

We are seeking a Programme Manager to focus on our WWARN malaria programme of activities within IDDO. The role is for a period of 9 months in the first instance. The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in a relevant scientific, health related discipline or equivalent experience. As an IDDO Programme Manager you will work across the IDDO portfolio of emerging infections (EI) and neglected poverty related diseases (NPRD) data themes. The successful candidate will help to deliver the programmes which achieve IDDO’s vision and mission, which are intended to have a lasting impact on global health.

This is a proactive role in encouraging and securing engagement from a range of stakeholders across the emerging infections and neglected poverty related disease communities, both nationally and internationally. This will include travel to varied countries.

The successful candidate may be required to give presentations at conferences and other relevant meetings or workshops. Design and coordination of stakeholder engagement activities will be an important aspect of the role.
