Parinaz is a PhD student in Biostatistics at Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, University of Melbourne, Australia. Prior to this, Parinaz completed an MSc in Biostatistics at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences. 

Her PhD research focuses on developing biological mathematical models to improve the treatment of malaria under the supervision of Professor Julie Simpson, Dr Robert Commons, and Dr Saber Dini.

Parinaz joined the WWARN Adherence Study group in 2019 to investigate how adherence to primaquine influences the efficacy of P. vivax treatment.
