Dr Rashid Mansoor


Dr Rashid Mansoor joined WWARN in May 2015 as a statistician. He is currently involved in two large scale pooled analysis of individual patient data projects: i) quantification of haematological changes post ACT treatment and ii) exploring the dose-response relationship between weighted adjusted dose (mg/kg) and clinical outcomes for artesunate-mefloquine. He is also responsible for writing study group reports and preparing manuscripts for publication. Before WWARN, Rashid spent one year as postdoctoral statistician at the School of Medicine, University of Dundee working with two studies relating to epidemiology and prescribing for chronic pain. He completed his master degree in statistics from Lund University, Sweden and obtained his PhD degree in statistics from Jonkoping International Business School, Jönköping University, Sweden.
