Sponsors conduct monitoring visits to a trial site to oversee the trial conduct and ensure it is in compliance with the protocol, good clinical practice and relevant regulatory requirements. This procedure therefore describes how site staff involved with attending or arranging monitoring visits should prepare for or contribute to such visits to help with efficient trial progress.
