Medicines for Malaria Venture (MMV) is a not-for-profit organisation created to discover, develop and deliver effective and affordable antimalarial drugs through public-private partnerships. MMV’s vision is a world in which these innovative medicines will cure and protect the millions at risk of malaria and help to ultimately eradicate this terrible disease.
MMV supports the creation of a central data repository to hold information on the emergence of antimalarial resistance from diverse organizations and geographic locations. After consultation with its partners, MMV has indicated its willingness to share its research data on antimalarial resistance for the purposes of the WWARN project.
