Regional Centres

WWARN’s Regional Centres play a central role in supporting researchers and public health practitioners to strengthen their skills and know-how. We work with teams to collect and disseminate high-quality data on malaria drug resistance through building informal and sustainable networks of scientists.

Our partners are working together to tailor research approaches to meet the needs and challenges of local endemic communities and stakeholders. We currently support collaborations in Asia, South Africa and West Africa. These Regional Centres are supporting capacity building activities with the aim of building sustainable regional scientific initiatives to bridge gaps between the research community and malaria policy makers.
